Co-founded by Mark Bergel and Katherin Ross Phillips, The Shared Humanity Project was built out of a belief in the importance of human connection – as one of us goes, so go all of us. From this philosophical underpinning, the organization cultivates connections among individuals and sectors to work toward economic and social change. They bring a combined 60 years of experience in all aspects of poverty work, from grassroots, on-the-ground service delivery to think-tank research and policy-making.
